ABOUT ME
My name is Mónica Del Real González and I am a Spanish and Italian teacher and translator.
As a person and a teacher, if I had to think of the words that best define me, they would be: “bilingual heart”.
Why? well, becauase as you can imagine I am spanish and my heart is always there; I love my language and my culture and thankfully my work allows me to pass my knowledge on to others. But I try this same feeling for Italian, since I was a teenager I felt passion for this language and its culture, I ended up marrying an Italian and living in this country that I love, even if it is full of contradictions.
This love has led me to learn its culture and its complex language in a profound way. In substance, I have lived half my life in Spain and the other half in Italy.
Translation is my other profession and my other great passion because it allows me to always learn new things and to improve, it touches on many subjects and when you translate a text it somehow becomes your own.
Advantages of my experiences
These experiences have allowed me to understand perfectly what are the difficulties that students have when studying a new language, because it is the same that I tried once, and it allows me to empathize with them, helping them to improve and learn the language quickly and practically at any level.
What I like most about this kind of profession is the opportunity to meet different people who give me a very rich variety of work because everyone is different with different needs and ways of reasoning and learning. Thanks to my predisposition it is not difficult to help them achieve their goals and it is very satisfying to see how students learn and improve day by day.
My working methology
My priority is that students have fun and feel relaxed because I am sure that if a person has fun learning and feels comfortable they will be more motivated and will want to continue learning. I have studied Tourism in Barcelona and then I have taken training courses to be able to work as a Spanish and Italian teacher.
I am currently working as an online teacher of Italian and Spanish. My courses are individual or group at any level. The classes are in Italian or Spanish depending on the language you want to learn, which is the most effective, but occasionally we can support English or French in the classes as they are languages that I know.
